Meet Our Staff

BStaff-headerrandon Hudson, Pastor

Dixie Ford,  Minister of Worship and Families

Dixie has been on staff at Crosscreek since 2011. She started her ministry with children and youth, and last year officially added worship to her title. Her gifts bless the congregation through the intentional shaping of our worship life and education and formation for our youngest members.

Dixie is married to Scott, and they have four children – Allie, Amber, Thomas, and Anna.

Brandon began his ministry at Crosscreek in October of 2013, having come from a church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

A native of Texas, Brandon does his best to stay above the fray of Alabama football rivalry, recognizing that regardless of athletic team affiliation, all are God’s children.

Brandon is married to Jill, and they have two children Sophia and Quinn. Brandon enjoys a variety of hobbies, and can often be found in close proximity to his Great Dane, Bella.

    Welcome to Crosscreek

“A church where everyone is welcome” is more than just a slogan at Crosscreek, it is our identity.

For most of the congregation’s thirty year history, it has been racially diverse and practiced gender equality in leadership. The openness to diversity and generosity of heart displayed by these choices has become a willingness to embrace all who worship with us, no matter their struggles or depth of faith.

At Crosscreek people are valued no matter their age or ability. Children, youth, and adults share worship leadership roles each week. We offer age appropriate programming for children that includes booster seats and activity bags for worship. Youth are offered faith-formative fellowship and Bible study. Adults of all ages find encouragement for faith through worship and Sunday School classes.
